Steps for Inviting a Collaborator via Email:
1. Access the Share Modal: Open your Hive Studio and find the share button in orange, located in the top navigation bar. Click on the share button to bring up team modal, where you can manage invitations and access to your Studio.
2. Enter Email Addresses or Create a Link: In the modal, locate and click the Create Link button.
3. Assign Permissions: The Create Link button will now change to a permissions dropdown allowing you assign the admin, producer, or viewer role to anyone who clicks the link.
4. Send Invitations: Once the permission is assigned, copy the invite link and send to your collaborators to join your studio.
Steps for Inviting a Collaborator via Link:
1. Access the Share Modal: Open your Hive Studio and find the share button in blue, located in the top navigation bar. Click on the share button to bring up team modal, where you can manage invitations and access to your Studio.
2. Enter Email Addresses or Create a Link: In the modal, locate the field where you can input email addresses.Type in the email address of the person you wish to invite. For multiple invites, simply continue typing after adding the previous email address.
3. Assign Permissions: Next to each email field or within the modal, you’ll find an option to assign a role to the invitee. Choose from admin, producer, or viewer depending on the level of access you wish to grant.
4. Send Invitations: Once all email addresses are entered and roles assigned, click the “Send Invite” button. Each invitee will receive an email with instructions to join your studio.
Roles & Permissions
Hive Studio offers four distinct roles to accommodate various levels of access and control within a studio: Owner, Admin, Producer, and Viewer. Each role is designed with specific permissions to streamline collaboration and studio management.:
1. Owner

Description: The owner is typically the person who created the studio or installed and linked the Hive App. As the highest authority within a studio, the owner has full control over all aspects of the studio.

Permissions: Includes all capabilities granted to other roles, such as managing billing, inviting and editing collaborators, adding and managing sources, and overall studio settings.
2. Admin

Description: Admins play a crucial role in managing the studio’s operational aspects. They are appointed by the studio owner and are responsible for day-to-day management tasks.

Permissions:
- Able to invite and manage collaborators.
- Able to edit, control, and add new video and audio sources.
- Able to manage billing and all other functional aspects of the studio.
3. Producer

Description: Producers are tasked with the creation and management of content. They focus on running productions and controlling the live elements of a studio.

Permissions:
- Can control and switch between video and audio sources during live production.
- Cannot invite new users, edit studio settings, manage billing, or add new sources.
4. Viewer

Description: Viewers have the most limited access within a studio. Their role is primarily observational, allowing them to watch live feeds or recordings without the ability to alter the production.

- Can only view added audio and video sources.
- Does not have the capability to edit, control, delete, or create new sources, nor manage users or studio settings.
